SFX

Team T.W.C.L

Misunderstanding create conflict in between people as always ; speculation and isolation are the main reasons result misunderstanding .All this problems come from faulty communication , for example when two people make assumption each other negatively , they will make speculation and isolation each other in order to protect themselves.

We are born in a world which we always have misunderstanding in between people , we might lose sight of a way for people to understand each other if we just keep thinking negatively about humanity . So I aim to create an animation in order to show people that one day people can finally understanding each other if they think positively about humanity and open themselves to find the solution in sort out the problem of misunderstanding .

I understand that this is just a fanatical dream that will never happen but I hope my action influence people .

Step outline

The devil wants to twist Tom who is being isolated from his classmates to against the world .

Drawing is not my area at the first place , but consider it as my job for the team ; I desired to research several drawing tutorial in Internet to improve myself. I have thought about different aspects of my devil characters .

The animation will be demonstrate in live action , 3D character must have imported in it . So in the design of the devil character I model him using Maya .

Extra




Tom studies in a secondary school so I will give him an school uniform costume . In looking for the actors ,the actor must look from his appearance at least age 17-19. Because when design a character for a film , the director should find something which is symbolize for the character in order to convince the audiences that this character is a part in the film.


Development




I used my strength in Maya to model d-boy with fully texture and render , I wanted d-boy have dark color in the first place because Devil is always symboized as evil . After that I think it is best for me to give d-boy a light color because I want he looks like a cartoon character in the screen . Then I rigged the character and did some rigging test .


The original design is D-boy wears a hat but after I model D-boy in Maya . I have realized it does not look like a devil so I give him a horn at last.




Actually texturing is not my best strength in Maya so I give the devil character with a simple and light color .
